Vice President Sales & Marketing EMEAI


Sakura Finetek Europe, with the Central Office located in The Netherlands, offers a new position VP Sales and Marketing. Reporting to the President, you have full commercial responsibility for the EMEAI organization and will be working closely together with the other Executive Team members. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Full commercial, P&L, performance and customer satisfaction responsibility for all three European Regional Business Units - a total of 14 legal entities. In total appr. 150 indirect reports.
  • Responsible for the full EMEAI marketing & sales strategy, all marketing concepts and programs to develop and prepare the market for the era of histology laboratory automation whilst balancing this with today's customer needs throughout the entire EMEAI territory.
  • Topline revenue and margin responsibility for the network of non-European distributors and ensuring that this territory is optimally served.
  • Member of the EMEAI Executive Team responsible for the multi-year strategic plan and steering the organization in the direction of fulfilling its mission and vision.
  • Member of the Global Steering Committee representing the EMEAI commercial teams for the global strategy with your colleagues in Japan and USA.
  • Member of the Global Marketing Meeting representing the EMEAI marketing strategy in close collaboration with the Marketing director.

Experience and Qualifications 

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in leading international sales and marketing teams, preferably in medical diagnostics. Master's degree in Economics, Marketing or equivalent, possibly complemented with an MBA. Excellent verbal and written skills in English, Dutch is considered as a plus. Willingness to travel at least 30% of time. Location: based preferably in The Netherlands. Alternatively, close to an international airport and based at least 1 week per month in The Netherlands.
